Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Associate for our client. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks related to inventory control, order picking, and warehouse management. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement.
Shift time: 8 am to 5 pm Monday-Friday
Responsibilities
- Handle walk-in customer inquiries and complaints
- Answer phones (must have professional phone etiquette)
- Provide information about the products and services
- Troubleshoot and resolve product issues and concerns
- Document and update customer records based on interactions
- Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services
- Picks products for daily deliveries, assists with loading, unloading delivery vans
- Works with team to receive, unpack, check in, store/warehouse, and shelve merchandise
- Assists in store where necessary, cleans store/warehouse, answers phones, takes customer orders, etc.
Qualifications
- Experience with aftermarket, auto parts, (bumpers, radiators, lights, paint, etc.)
- Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
- Will be lifting, moving, bending, squatting
- May frequently lift and stock 5 gallon paint buckets.
- Will operate a forklift (experience preferred, however, our client will train)
- Auto collision background is desirable
- Must have strong computer skills using data base applications
- Excellent phone skills
- You must know make/model/year for autos
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, or other related fields
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Some accounting experience a plus
